The Curtiss P-36 Hawk is an American all-metal fighter aircraft. It was all-metal and had undercarriage landing gear. The P-36 was designed in the 1930s and first flew in 1935, serving until 1954. The aircraft was used by the United States Army Air Corps, the RAF, the French Air Force, and the Finnish Air Force. The most notable example of the P-36 Hawk was the one flown by Phillip Rasmussen during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
