Phone Camera Stand Lock

Phone Camera Stand Lock

This is a addon to this great Phone Camera Stand.

I’ve made it and it’s awesome, but with PLA, there can be a little stress to the locking on the rotating part, where both part_4 are attached.

So I’ve made this little lock to put underneat it, that can be easily removed with small pliers, removing any possibility of breaking the axis if a little force is applied by accident, or if it drops on the ground.

For better results, print part_7 with 101% scale. It will rotate normally, and fit perfectly with this lock.

If not, just print the lock somewhere between 99% and 99,5%, should be enough.

I also used the other available remix since M8 screws are way more reliable than M2/M3, especially for long term use. I should just recommend scaling the head part up a little, because the sides are thin and one of them snapped on the first fit.

Hope this helps!

There aren’t any secrets to this part specifically, just use the same configuration used on the original thing and you’re good to go (but scale if necessary to fit without too much stress).
