# Summary

This wall mount is for a small surround sound speaker ~ 3" x 4" x 5" and light in weight. This mount allows the speaker angle to be adjusted vertically and horizontally so you can point it pretty much wherever you need it. I made this mount to work with #8 hardware. The hole for the speaker will accommodate up to a #10 screw. The hardware for the adjustable link between the mounts will take a #8-32 x 3/4" lg machine bolt, narrow washer, lock washer and nut. You may need a long socket to get to the nut. Mounting it to the wall will use a #8 wood or metal screw, but make sure the screws are long enough and located to actually anchor into a stud (Don't trust wall anchors - lazy tool of the devil). Also note that I may have machine screws for the wall in the render, but don't use - that's all I had in the toolbox at the time...

Mount the speaker to the Speaker mount bracket, then attach the Wall mount bracket to the wall. Join the two with the #8 hardware mentioned above, aim speaker and tighten - don't torque it - it's just a print after all...
