Due to the want of lambda to deorbit ships to directley control planets, many of lamdas magnus replacements, (magnolias) were deorbited to test for structural issues, any that did not withstand the deorbitings in tact were towed into orbit, salvaged, and were repaired to a good enough status and sold on the civilian market Almost all Magnolias on the civilian market were resold after planetary deorbiting testing, the ships weapons were stripped and to find a fully mint magnolia for sale would be a minor miracle. however the only reason you would want to aquire a mint magnolia would be to collect it or to control a planet, as there is no significant combat structural difference between an salvage one and a “perfect one”.
