Here we go – Luke’s famous Landspeeder. Several full-scale speeders were used in ANH. And they all look a bit different. So, I took the liberty to not be totally canon.
It should be around 3.5 meters in length in accordance with some data I looked up. But I’m not so sure about the actual size of it, though. I had to scale down the test-pilot (height 1.8 meters) 10-15% to make him fit into the “cabin” while building this thing. Maybe it’s made just for small people, dunno. In my ongoing project I scaled the machine up 30%.
A couple of artefacts, but nothing a lick of paint can’t fix. I didn’t make a game-ready LP version. Too boring.
As usual – looks best a tad from the camera. However, some angles might work well at close-ups. Good for concepts and still renders.
