Steamboat Ramona 1923-1956

The steamboat Ramona sailed as an excursion vessel on Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was 110 feet long and 26 feet wide. Built by the Daschel and Carter company of Benton Harbor MI, she was owned and operated by the Poisson family. The Ramona was equipped with picnic tables and a piano and took excursionists around Reeds Lake for more than thirty years. This model was created by Lucas Soler using the original ship plans as well as vintage photographs and video.
