At the Shanghai Motor Show, Volkswagen has presented the new Phideon GTE, which it hopes will attract the attention of users looking for an environmentally friendly representative saloon, promising very low consumption and emissions.
Volkswagen’s large saloon has been manufactured for just over a year exclusively for the Chinese market and there are no plans to launch it beyond those borders. Given its design, packaging and elegance, it would have been a good addition to the German manufacturer’s offering in the European market, filling the gap left by the Phaeton.
