The new Mustang GT is definitely fast, delivering a 0 to 60 time of 5.2 seconds; only 1.4 seconds slower than its supercar sibling, while the quarter mile rocks by in 13.8 seconds at 103 miles-per-hour. The 4.6-liter V8 pulls hard off the line and out of corners.
The 4.6L 3V Mustang GT systems utilize Vortech’s V-2 or V-3 superchargers. Continued development in Vortech’s Lab resulted in the Si-Trim Model. With its state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this Si-Trim literally blows away the competition.
The 2005 Ford Mustang Reliability Rating is 3.5 out of 5. It ranks 21st out of 32 for all car brands.
