The Mazda Furai is a concept car from the Japanese car manufacturer Mazda. Presented at the Detroit Motor Show in 2008, it is the fifth design in the “Nagare” series. It runs on E100 ethanol in harmony with its Wankel 3 rotor engine which develops a power of 450 horsepower for approximately 850kg (For its 3 rotor version).
On January 15, 2008, the Furai was used in demonstration on the Le Mans circuit in France to do a few laps in tribute to the 40 years of Wankel engines produced by Mazda.
