Melkus Group 7 – Low poly model

Melkus Group 7 - Low poly model

In general, Melkus is a small manufacturer of racing cars in east germany. Melkus, like many cars of the socialist bloc, did not have high-perfomance capabilities for real international competitions. RS 1000 – one of the most famous cars of the brand, was build at ladder frame with rollcage on it, perfomance was as bad as technical relevance. The model was originally made as an attempt to fix the original design, around a more suitable V6 engine, but after significant changes, I wondered how far the concept and design of the original RS 1000 could be advanced while maintaining period correct state. I enlarged the rear and front arches, made a new rear end, shortened the body, in theory, created around the tubular frame, and drew the air intake for the B8. All in all, through significant changes, I made the car ready for Group 7 races. Use and modify the model as you see fit, and have a nice day.
