The Porsche Taycan is a battery electric sedan with a removable brake manufactured by the German automaker Porsche. A concept version of the Taycan, dubbed the Porsche Mission E, debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Taycan was unveiled ready for production at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. As Porsche’s first mass-produced electric car, it is sold in several performance levels and may spawn additional derivatives in future models.
