Trivia: Introduced in 2014, the Gold Coast G:link Light Rail’s Flexity 2 trams are a vibrant symbol of modern, sustainable transport in Queensland manufactured by Bombardier Transportation (now part of Alstom). These trams accommodate up to 309 passengers and stretch 43.5 metres, making them the longest trams used in Australia. They feature full low-floor access, air conditioning, and dedicated spaces for wheelchairs, prams, and even surfboards.
