Larger caliber lever action rifle designed by the legendary John Moses Browning as an improvement on the earlier Model 1876. It originally was only chambered in .45-70 Gov’t, .45-90 Sharps, or .40-82 Winchester. It later came in .50-110 Winchester along with a half dozen other cartridges.
