5.56 Variant of FN Belgium’s SCAR rifle, feeding from STANAG AR-15 magazines, a few rifles of this type were field tested by the US military, designated Mk16 mod 0, but the weapon was never formally adopted, however it is in use by many other militaries and law enforcement agencies as it still is an effective, reliable, easily modifiable weapon system.
