The Ghoul sniper is a Palestinian-made anti-materiel rifle based on the Austrian Steyr HS .50, introduced in 2014 during “Israel’s” failed invasion of the Gaza Strip. The Ghoul uses a single-shot bolt-action mechanism and fires 12.7x99mm or 14.5x114mm cartridges, with an effective range of 2km.
