8 Inch Tablet Stand

8 Inch Tablet Stand 3D model

3D 8 Inch Tablet Stand model

I have a few extra old 8 inch tablets that I wanted to re-purpose. I happen to have two 3D printers and two little laser engravers. So I figured I’d connect the tablets directly to them as touch screens to control them. So I created a 8 inch tablet holder that has opening at the top and side for access to the ports. If you happen to have a tablet with holes on the right you can bring this design into tinkercad and use the hole tool to open up the right side. I also purchased the OTG adapter that allows me to charge the tablet at the same time I can connect usb to computer/mouse/keyboard etc.

The OTG adapter is here –> https://www.walmart.com/ip/4-Port-Micro-USB-Host-OTG-Hub-Power-Adapter-Charging-Cable-for-Android-Phone-Tablet-PC/971642870

In the next few days I’m going to 3D print a holder for the OTG adapter and incorporate it into this tablet design. I’ll update this post with the OTG adapter holder link as soon as its completed.
