AirPods Max Desktop Stand

AirPods Max Desktop Stand

An interesting stand for the new AirPods Max headphones, that uses the clamping pressure of the ear cups and the negative image of their inside, to create what seems to be an impossible arrangement. The non-rendered images show a prototype version that is less refined than the final product, the renderings show how it will ultimately look, with slimmer bezels in the upper section. Although the stand does not have magnets to put the headphones into ultra-low power mode, it does not trigger ear detection, so the headphones should go to sleep automatically. Also they can easily be charged while on the stand.

Notes:

Supports are an absolute must, however, you need to place support blockers to cover the upper third of the model. Otherwise a lot of extra support will be created that is largely unnecessary, apart from causing a little bit of stringing at the very edge of the outer protrusions.
