Apple AirPods Case!
When I first got airpods, I went to buy a case on amazon, but nobody really had what I was looking for– I looked on thingiverse and other sites for models that I could potentially print, but still nothing. This led me to create and publish the new case here!
IMPORTANT NOTE**
This case does not interfere with the cap. The cap opens and closes cleanly and easily with no interference with the case
SPECS
I printed this in PLA, but most other materials such as ABS, PETG, Nylon Flexible, and many other should work as well (Nylon Flexible would be best as it would provide the best protection)
PRINT WITH SUPPORTS (make sure it is upright when printing, as well as supports enabled)
(SMOOTH LOOK and PROFESSIONAL PRODUCT FEEL)
——-^^^ — After I printed this case, I took off all of the supports from the bottom and sanded it (First with rough sandpaper to fine). Then I sprayed it with Matte and Glossy Finish to give it a smooth and professional feel. (Not necessary, but it does give it a nice feel)
CAP FOR AIRPODS
I am currently in the process of designing a reliable and smooth cap for this design, but for the meantime, I am using an old cap that came with an old case from amazon. However, the case is fine without the cap for the time being, but a new cap will be coming soon.
