A simple 3D printed stencil for a flammable stencil for spray paint.
I had a spare small ammo can that I want to use for storing flammables (matches, lighters, etc.) in the back of my car. The stencilled image added a nice touch if I do say so myself.
Print Settings
Printer brand: Wanhao

Do what you have to for your printer to keep the resulting print flat.
Post-Printing
Keep your print as flat as you can while it is cooling.
If it does bend a little, use painter tape/masking tape to fix the stencil into position and push down the raised spots using a pencil or a dowel or a putty knife or similar, when actually spraying paint.
Remember that when spray painting with a stencil, several very, very light passes with the paint work best.
How I Designed This
I found a suitable graphic online, used a free online tool to convert the .JPG to .STL, imported the converted file into TinkerCAD, made the imported image a ‘hole’, and joined that image with a simple flat rectangle object.
I’ve made a video detailing the process (see below) using text as an example.
