A phone clip Inverter for the 8Bitdo Xtander clip
This clip comes in many configurations fitting: SN30 Pro, SF30 Pro, NES30 Pro, FC30 Pro, SFC30, SNES30
8BitDo made possibly the best bluetooth controller for emulation of retro games with the SN and SF30 Pro. A company Gwowo designed the 8BitDo Xstander clip holder which positions a phone vertically above the controller at an angle.
However this clip is too top heavy as the phone is heavier than the controller. To prevent the unit tipping forward, you are always gripping the controller uncomfortably tightly.
So I designed the Xtander Inverter, which repositions the phone clip part to be on-top of the controller instead of above it at an angle. This position restores the center of balance to the center of the controller (before, the center of balance was at the phone, ~2 inches above the controller). Having the center of balance at the index knuckle is ideal for long play.
You may think that it now tips backwards towards the player, but because of the thumbs being almost inside the unit now, the weight is overall better distributed and so it is comfortable at any angle.
