I needed a way to mount my iPad to a kitchen cupboard so that I could watch videos, read recipes, etc. This should fit any tablet that is less than 10mm thick although I designed it with my iPad Pro (with Smart Cover) in mind which is approx 9mm thick and fits snug. My tablet has the rubberized cover, but if yours does not, you could glue a strip of felt on the inside of the bracket for softness and snugness.
To use:
Print two pieces, carefully drill holes larger if needed.
Position the lower bracket where you’d like it and affix it in place.
Place tablet in lower bracket and place the upper bracket on top.
Raise the upper bracket by 2 mm to 5 mm and mark it’s place with a pencil.
Take note of any buttons on the side of the tablet that might interfere when sliding it in.
Affix upper bracket in place.
Tablet should slide in from the side easily.
Opening: 10mm
Length: 100mm

Notes:
Print standing on end with a WIDE BRIM (10mm). Printing in this orientation should provide the most strength. I used PLA and the Gyroid infill setting in Slic3r.
