Mini Shoe Camera Handle

Last weekend I was filming a lot with glidecam and my arm really hurt. I know I can purchase the glove, but for now, I want to reduce the carrying weight on my right hand, at least while not filming. This handle should help with stabilization at near-ground shots and can be used just as simple carrying handle. I hope you will put it in to good use.

Also in the projects files tab, you can find my GCode for Prusa MK2 (PET)

Finishing
Grip

I recomend to sand the whole part, than you are touching and if you are able, get some very big linear ballons and put a piece of it on the handl. It isn’t necessary, but it gives much nicer grip.

Only one modification is needed to be done to the bottom part. About 2mm from bottom there are two grooves visualy separating the upper part from the downer. Every camera has diferent gripping notch thickness so you would need to eventualy file it to the right size.

Optional

Maybe you would need to break the two slim pins at bottom to decrese hazard of breaking them in the camera it self.
