Nintendo Switch Arcade Cabinet (Laser Cut)
Wanted to try my hand at a mini Nintendo Switch Cabinet for Maker Faire. Mocked this up. Will be iterating while I wait for Maker Faire to arrive 😀
Uses 3/16″ material. I have been using Elmers Foamboard for my prototypes. It’s about ~$3.00 for a 20″x30″ board from Target / Walmart and it cuts great on a laser cutter.
May 15th 2017 – v.0.1.5 – Added back brace and front lip to keep Switch in place without having to use kickstand.
June 1st 2017 – v.0.1.6 – Made some areas a little taller to lessen the gaps. Cabinet survived a trip to Megacon 2017.
June 17th 2017 – Added updated SVG with correct DPI. AI file is fine, but SVG was set to wrong DPI causing a 20% size reduction.
