Yet another version of my dock mounted cartridge holder for the Nintendo Switch – this time 4 slot. It is locked into place by the door on the back of the original Switch dock – since the door makes a great snap in mounting point.
Designed to print on most printers without any support in the default file orientation, I don’t think it would print well rotated from the default orientation without a lot of post processing. Your printer will need to be able to handle prints ~130mm tall.
To attach this holder to the dock, you will need to align the semi circular cutouts with the protruding tabs on the back edge of the dock door.
I’ve included 2 versions in this file, the original version with square top corners which I’ve printed in the photo, and another with rounded top corners (my preference for this dock as it mimics the rounded corners of the switch, but silly me forgot to include them before I printed!).
With around 5% infill, 0.4 nozzle and moderately fast print settings in S3D – the print took me around 1 hour 39 mins with a Folger FT5.
