A simple air filter for computer case fans. Default settings are for 140mm fan but it’s easy to change the parameter for other fan sizes.

Designed for .4 nozzle. The layer height must be 0.2 to slice properly. I have printed using ABS.
For easier removal from the bed, you can consider printing without glue. I tried with good results. It was still quite tightly attached to the bed though.
Post-Printing
Remove from bed very carefully
The mesh tends to stick to the bed very tightly and the single plastic strands tend to break quite easily. Waiting for the bed to cool would be the best idea. But if you’re impatient, then try to disconnect it diagonally with the bed cleaning tool and don’t rush it.
How I Designed This
A mesh like this proved to be very troublesome for most design programs. The amount of intersections for building a solid make most programs crash or get stuck calculating them.
Luckily OpenSCAD is able to do this, even though the rendering takes some minutes.
Then the next challenge was how to slice it properly. If the mesh is in just one level, slicing will result in a million or so small squares. The strength of such mesh would be non-existing.
To get the slicing to produce straight lines, there are two layers for the mesh part. They have 0.2mm height difference but overlap 0.05mm for the solid calculation. This is why the 0.2mm layer height while printing is a must.
