This is an earbud holder I designed to hold my Sennheiser MM30i headphones but it should work for a lot of different earbuds. I wanted it to be simple without complicated latches or a gotta-do-it-this-way winding order, and I wanted the exterior to be smooth so it felt nice in my pocket when I’m using the headphones.
There are two holes at either end of the recess which allow the earbuds to be stored face down to protect the tips. There is a notch where the wires come out and you wrap once, add the microphone, then continue to wrap. Headphone plug just tucks in wherever.
Nothing special for printing. Example shown is PLA at 0.2mm on my Prusa Mk3. Did some filament switching to sex it up a bit.
Edit: The original design I uploaded was specifically for my Sennheiser earbuds which have a smaller diameter than many earbuds. To accommodate a wider range of earbuds I just uploaded a “big” version with larger holes. Seems to work with a couple of pairs of Monster earbuds I had around the house.

Notes:
Make sure you print with a clean bed and have your Z-offset dialed in. The contact patch is a bit small for the height and if you don’t have a nice tight 1st layer the print might break away from the bed as you reach the top of the print. Not that it happened to me or anything…but A FRIEND had it happen to THEM…yeah….
…or you could use a raft if you don’t mind the cleanup.
