Update 2/24/2019: improved alignment of clips on pad, 3 files changed to version 1a)
(Update 2/25/2019: Added short version with rounded ends to improve appearance.)
(Update 2/25/2019: Added strengthened version without dovetail mount.)

This is a g-clamp with the addition of a locking lever, which allows quick adjustment of position. There is an integrated dovetail mount so you can use this to mount things to bookshelves and tables, such as my Pac-Man themed headphone stand

The clamp prints without supports and snaps together. There are 45 degree overhangs and some bridging involved. If your printer doesn’t handle bridging so well, you might want to use supports on the “lever” part.

I suggest printing with at least 3 perimeters and a fair amount of infill, to ensure it is suitably stiff.

It will be possible to scale this design up and down in size over quite a wide range.

There is a short version of the clamp which doesn’t extend as far onto the surface you are attaching it too. There is also a “no mount” version without the dovetail mount, for use just as a clamp. This has a larger corner radius, which reduces the stress at the corners and should make it significantly stronger.

Follow the video guide for assembly:

There is a hole through the middle of the dovetail mount, to give the option of using a long M3 screw to hold things in place.

I have also included a model of the dovetail mount, and the corresponding socket, so you can graft it on to other models. The socket should print in multiple orientations without supports, so long as you can handle a bit of bridging and overhangs.

I’ve never charged anything for any of my models and I don’t expect tips, but please post your makes, it makes it worthwhile for me.
