Because Raspberry Pi cases are important things in life!
Why this one sucks less than most others:
Reduced material demand
good venting
durable case without any screws what so ever
all ports open accessible
GPIOs easily accessible due to low profile
Large cutout for SD (not visible on photos! check the model). The bloody RPi foundation removed the spring loaded mechanism for SD release in version 3 so.
Designed to be printed with PLA at 0.15mm layer height. No supports needed, the overhangs should print fine.
The clamping gap between the lid and the bottom is currently 0.14mm which works perfectly for me. If it’s too tight or too lose for you, just play with with the flow/extrusion rate. 3%-5% change should already make a difference.
Fusion 360 file included! A rugged industrial design for hat rail mount is in the making!
