This is the 7th design prototype of my promised SDtoVita cases.

The first few designs all seemed to snag on slot somewhere, or create to much thickness where they snapped together.

This Single side one piece design press-fits to the front of the adapter with a satisfying snap, and seems to adhere very well. You will be required to trim or heat-and-fold the small amount of overhang near the top on both sides to enable smooth action into the slot. (I recommend about 1 second with a bic lighter) This small lip is leftover from a previous design and may or may not be utilized or removed in a (near) future design.

As of this moment, while the grooves are spaced correctly, the springlock mechanism still does not engage. I expect I’ll have that working very very soon. In the meantime- I’ve added another with a greatly increased height, and notch for finger-grabbin. This should at least eliminate the need for roach-clips and tweezers while I work out this neato springlock mechanism. While it’s not perfect yet, it beats the hell out of the raw PCB.

Obligatory warning:While I don’t see this assing up your console, I’ll take no responsibility if it does. Pics or it didn’t happen.

Big special thanks to moredrugsmore3somes of /r/vitahacks/ fame for providing the first sample hardware! (I already broke off the sdslot while liberating it from a way-to-tight all in one case design… but it serves this purpose perfectly.)
