Sharpiehog

Sharpiehog

Most of the Sharpie holder designs I’ve seen store them with the tip up, and while this may look nice and make it easy to find the right color, this tends to dry them out, as the ink flows down away from the tip. This design allows you to store 12 Sharpies with the tip down while still allowing you to easily differentiate the pens by their color.

On top of that, its spiky shape makes it an eye-catcher in every home. Also ideal for kids or as a gift. Spruce up a gift of a 12 pack of Sharpies by giving them in a Sharpiehog!

Prints nicely without supports in PLA. There is a small overhang by the snoot, but if you have your fan at 100 % it should be no problem to print without supports. The model on the image was printed on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon without supports with the filaments Anycubic PLA in White and Polymaker PolyTerra PLA in Charcoal Black at 0.20 mm layer height.

For those that are interested in also printing this in multiple materials (with a different color for the nose and eyes), I also added a print file to print directly from a microSD card on the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with AMS and the project file for Bambu Studio.

If you like the design, please consider giving this a like, I would appreciate it very much!
