This is a modification of Depronized’s excellent little spotlight.
I wanted to make it functional but without any fuss and was looking for more of a prop than a functional lighting fixture (although I would love to find a simple 5W LED solution too).
This uses an inexpensive two LED “eagle eye” lamp designed for 12VDC (no drivers or additional parts needed) It threads directly into the back of the spotlight and rests far enough back that a little light spills out through the vents in the lamp housing of the fixture. LED is about $0.50 each unit.
I made the side holes in the housing 2.5mm so they can be tapped for M3 screws – same with the mounting clip which is designed to snap onto 1/4″ tube or rod (6.35mm).
The back hole is threaded M10-1.0 to accept the threaded shaft of the LED. You may need to clean the threads with a tap depending on how well you are able to print them.
At 12VDC, you can run as many as 16 fixtures on a 1A supply!
Like the original, the front barrel is glued onto the back after inserting the LED.
I made edits to the yoke and back of the fixture in Fusion 360 but was starting from the STL files, so there are little issues but nothing that won’t print quickly and easily. If I can get copies of the original Fusion files, I will re-make the changes, test print them and update the STL files with the cleaner files.
The Gel Frame, long barrel, short barrel and yoke are all directly compatible with the original versions released by Depronized but more smoothed (less detail).

Can be printed easily with more or less detail but will even work with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height – smaller nozzle and thinner layers make it better but I needed lots of units quickly.
