I use this helpful “Thing” when my camera is mounted on a tripod and remotely controlled via WiFi.
It protects the camera from sunlight (heat), bird droppings and unexpected drops of rain.
You can use any kind of thin plastic or cardboard (1mm to 1,5mm) to insert and place it as you like.
The shield fits in the standard flashsocket.
The slideable mount allows you to either find the center of your camera or move the shield to the right so you have enough space to reach the camera controls with you right hand.
In addition, you only need an M4 screw and M4 nut
