Really liked Azzeloof’s phone mount as well as franco87’s remix using the standard Go Pro geometry.
I had several unused go pro mounting bases and attachments laying around and modeled the 2 prong connector to fit the GoPro base, so here’s the adapter if you’d like to do the same.
Geometry isn’t perfect, but I was on a time crunch to get this mount done before I leave on a road trip….it mushes in there, so I probably won’t fuss with it, but feel free if you’re so inclined!
Used 8-32 hardware as suggested by original creator (azzeloof). Ground down two 1″ cap screws down to 7/8″ to fit the knobs I chose (wasn’t feeling the wingnuts). Slapped some velcro on it and called it done. Function is Beauty~
