Currently we have both USB-C and micro-USB devices in our house, which can be a bit inconvenient, as the charger cable closest to you tends to be the wrong kind. Ordered a handful of micro-USB to USB-C adapters, which help, kind of, except they will spread away from the cables, when detached.
This thing effectively solves the problem of losing these cable adapters, the adapter stuck in one end and the cable pushed through the other end. Because of the star/flower shape grabbing the connector’s strain relief the thing with the adapter doesn’t easily escape the connector side, like the first version did.
There are two versions for different size adapters. Sure can be used for other adapters and cables as well, like some semi-permanently mounted extension cables, if the connector just fits.
