The underside pocket for the crossbar has a concave fillet. If you print with the tines on the bed you won’t need support material.
Post-Printing
It was designed so that the crossbar/strut only goes in about 45mm. The ends of the strut aren’t intended to overlap the fillets. The dimensions of the strut match the pocket so you’ll likely need a little bit of sanding/filing for fit.
