A center joystick mount for the Virpil WarBRD base for the IKEA Poang chair.
I’m uncertain of the consistency of the Poang chair dimensions as this was quite an exact fit to my chair, so I’ve also included the Fusion360 file if you’d like to modify it.
Mounting joystick instructions:
Join LH and RH Frame by inserting the two links into the cutouts (doesn’t need to be perfect).
Attach WarBRD base – Thread USB cable through hole and screw base to printed mounting frame with the 4 virpil screws.
Take off cushion for Poang chair and slide Frame with WarBRD base assembly onto front lip of chair, bottom of frame should press against the chair’s crossbeam.
Press fit the Clamp item (blue in image) on the opposite side of the crossbeam to the frame, the edges should very tightly fit around the sides of the Frame assembly (red in image). There will still be some gap between screw holes.
Use four #6, 3/4 inch machine screws with nuts to screw together the frame and clamp. Could likely use M3 screws and/or longer length as well.

– Print LH and RH Frame on their sides, no supports needed. – Print Clamp with supports (either vertically with C-shape touching bed for best strength but more supports, or on it’s back with supports for rounded cutouts). – Print 2x Link inserts to help join the LH & RH frames.
