Wrist Mounted Pen Cartridge Crossbow

Wrist Mounted Pen Cartridge Crossbow

I originally designed this as a summer project but it came out better than I had expected so I decided to share it. This wrist mounted repeating crossbow fires empty pen cartridges from Pilot G2 and Frixon pens. Printable ammo types are also included. They don’t work as well as the pen cartridges but they do the job. Just make sure to print them horizontally so they don’t break. It has a magazine capable of holding up to 5 rounds and a drawstring puller to aid in cocking it. Depending on the ammo, I’ve had it puncture thin cardboard and easily stick into some old pieces of foam. It’s not super powerful so you can use it indoors if you are cautious.

You will also need a few different pieces of hardware to assemble the crossbow. M4 screws, washers, springs, string, and something to use as straps such as Velcro. The full list of parts needed as well as a step by step assembly guide and troubleshooting advice are all located in the READ ME file.

While I shouldn’t have to say this I am going to anyway. Like any other device that fires projectiles, DO NOT fire it at other people or animals. This thing is fun but can poke an eye out if you’re not using good judgement. I am not liable if you hurt yourself or someone else. Be responsible and have fun.
