This headphone hanger differs from other hangers because it can be clamped into a interstice between two adjacent corner elements. Secured without damaging anything.
If your headphone is lightweight, you’ll be fine with only the hanger itself. If your headphone is heavier, insert the vertical support rod to prevent bending (and eventual breaking) of the thin plate.
