Contemporary business card holder angled at 45° for a stylish display of your business cards.
This display can hold cards of any size. Cards in the 85x55mm format sit flush with the outside of the stand. The stack of cards can be up to 15mm thick.
I remixed this model from Titafubaki and added a undercut at the bottom where the edge of the cards go. This allows even rectangular cards to lay flat on the sides and the corners do not bend.
Printing
If your printer can handle 45° overhangs, this model can be printed without supports. My Ender 3 V2 Neo, which struggles a bit with steep overhangs, printed this very cleanly (see pictures). Make sure “Ensure vertical shell thickness” is enabled on Pruce Slicer version earlier than 2.6 (it’s default, not switchable behavior after that), so you get nice angled surfaces.
I used the following printer parameters:
2 perimeters, 20% cubic infill
0.2mm layers
1mm solid bottom layer thickness
In Prusa Slicer 2.6 and higher, you can also easily add text to the foot, which is a great way to personalize the holder.
You can of course also increase the solid bottom layer thickness, so that the stand becomes a little heavier at the bottom. But this is not necessary for stability, because the holder is quite stable.
