I designed this mini bin to look similar to those HART crates available at Walmart. I use the big ones to store my Filaments and I wanted a desktop-sized mini-crate to store my 3D Printer tools that would fit-in with the others. It isn’t an exact copy, but it’s definitely inspired. There is a place for a 2.5in x 1in bin label on the long sides.
The exact dimensions internally are 7in x 5in x 3.9in (Corners are cut at 45°) It SHOULD stack cleanly like the HART bins, but I have not printed another one yet so I cannot test it.
Print Settings:
PLA or PETG, supports required only on Handles because it is approx. a 4in bridge.
15% infil is plenty, you can probably reduce down to 10% with no issues.
I printed in PETG at .28 Draft Quality, but any layer height should work. PLA is better with bridges and will definitely look better at the end.
