Corbeau Elite Sniper Leader

Corbeau Elite Sniper Leader

PLA printers can get close to resin models as long as we respect some rules. And Primaris gather two of these: geometric design and suitable scale. We just have to use a nice slicing plan to make them printer-friendly and close large gaps by being smart at custom.

This Eliminator model is a try to give a nice mood to this unit. You can find more eliminator models on websites but many look a little bit “dead”. I wanted a in-real-life gesture for my own leader model.

It is sliced in 7 parts: 3 for the gun, 2 for the scope, a head and a body. You’ll find the gun too thick to be just glued on the torso. It’s obviously made. Using a blade, you must erase some PLA behind the hand in the hidden side and it will fit. This thickness was made to ensure a nice flat print. The left shoulder is clear so that you can figure your chapter’s symbols and the model took off his helmet for clearer sight and put it on his knee, allowing us to avoid some more supports for the arm.

Mine had a print accident on the arm yours won’t as I fixed it. The body part takes 6 hours to birth and is on a 32mm round base.
