This is a Christmas ornament that can be expanded. It can be actuated by pressing on the top and bottom or by spining the top to keep it open.

To print it you will need to print 12 of the Shell parts and 1 of each of the others. Only the Bolt Cap will need supports. You will also need a 1/4-20 x 1 3/4 bolt and some rubber bands.
I like to chase the threads of the Stem – Threaded part with a 1/4-20 tap to make the bolt move a little bit easier but it is not necessary. It can be a bit tricky to assemble and it definately can help if you have someone help hold the peices in place while the rubber band is put on.
