Old King Swol – The dimension hopping barbarian lunatic.

In the year 28,000 they say he is a mighty leader among the clans of Cyberzerkers. A giant of a man with an apatite for all things good. He leads and protects his fellows through the rad-wastes that was once the frozen pole cap. With a sparkle in his eye and re rev of his chainswords, he’s quick to remind his fellows you can’t spell slaughter without laughter.


In the lands of Icewind Dale there is no law but the law of the Frostmaiden. This is the truth all lawful good characters must grapple with to survive. OKS had been trapped in the great Necropolis for an untold number of years. Though immortal and unchanging in body, his mind has lost tome of it’s edge over the millennia of isolation. All of it really.
After the death of Sophek Kaltro, the Frostmaiden appears to him in a divine vision. Commanding him to go forth and continue the work of the undead huntsman.
Now he roams Tentowns drawn magically to those who would cheat the lotteries and turn against the will of the Frostmaiden.
Only he determines who has been naughty and who has been nice.

Old King Swol uses the barbarian stat block of a modified level to provide a challenge to the party at whatever time he arrives. He is a lawful good character, and can be reasoned with, but is magically drawn to individuals who have cheated the Frostmaiden. Upon seeing these individuals, he flies into a rage.
He carries two magical, +1, keen axes. These axes ar magical when charged by an electric spell of some sort, and loose charge after 5xL hours, where “L” is the level of the spell used to charge them. When uncharged they are counted as improvised weapons.
