OpenForge – Modular Bandit Watchtower

OpenForge - Modular Bandit Watchtower

[UPDATE 11-18-20 @ 6:30pm CST] – uploaded fixed ‘TOPPLATFORM-_TALL_WALLS_AND_ROOF – v2.st’ file, thickened up top roof

This is a project I have had in the back of my mind for a very long time! Today we bring you the “Modular Bandit Watchtowers” set.

This set allows you to build watchtowers, as the name implies (and essentially generic scaffolding systems). The watchtowers are designed to be relatively haphazard/roughly construced with wood, nails, and leather/cloth. They are ~1.5×1.5″ footprint, with enough size for a mini to fit comftorably in them without being huge.

They are modular so you can make them as tall as you would like, with each section easily stacking on top of the section below. The modular scaffolding sections have a built-in ladder, and various orientations/options are included to make each tower look unique. Each scaffolding section is available as a “regular” section or with a bottom platform – so each level can have a platform you can place supplies/scatter/minis inside, or leave open.

There are 4 options for toppers – no wall, short wall, tall with roof, and tall walls with no roof, and the tops are designed with only partial walls to allow easily access/removal of minis. There’s also a ramp thrown in so you can bridge between scaffolding or tower sections if you wish!

Each piece will print without supports in resin or FDM. Cheers, and happy printing and gaming!
