I really wanted to try to make a 3d hair model for purple minion chess pieces that was compatible with FDM printers (Lion’s mane approach). I think the pieces came out great! Special thanks to the genius behind OpenSCAD Hairizer.
Note, all the models have an M for macho whereas the yellow minions are G for Gru (per the movie discussion in the yellow minion project).
Use supports for the arms for the knight, bishop and king (at least I needed to). Use support blockers for the hair section if you are auto-generating.
