Wingspan Birdhouse Dice Tower

Wingspan Birdhouse Dice Tower

This 3D printed bird house dice tower is the perfect upgrade to your game of Wingspan! It replaces the cardboard tower that comes with the game, features a hinged tray that folds up and down, and fits perfectly in the box without the need to disassemble.

Print Settings

Printer brand: Creality
Printer: Ender 3 Pro
Rafts: No
Supports: Yes
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 10
Filament_brand: Amolen
Filament_color: Wood
Filament_material: PLA

Notes:

I printed this in Amolen Dark Walnut PLA at 10% infill

I printed this at 10% infill, but I recommend printing the pegs at a higher infill (50-100%). You should also scale the pegs down for tolerance – my printed required them to be 95%

Supports only needed in the opening at the bottom of the box where the dice come out, one support in each of the two big holes, and one support under each of the roof rails (print this part rotated 90 degrees)

Post-Printing

I glue the roof to the top of the box with a few dabs of Barge

  1. Printed in resin on a Elegoo Mars 3, Barely fits the build volume but worked fine w/ a little warping on base. Would suggest hollowing the ramps as otherwise they are solid cured resin and take up as much material as the rest of the main tower.
    Good build!
