Fifty years ago Ford stunned the racing world when three Ford GT40 race cars swept first, second and third place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, beating the formidable Ferraris. And a few weeks ago, the all-new Ford GT won at Le Mans, again beating Ferrari. To commemorate that original feat, Ford has announced a special edition of its new GT sports car. The Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition honors the historic No. 2 race car and will be limited to the 2017 model year only.
