A beskad was a traditional Mandalorian sword forged from beskar. Comprised of a broad, single-edged blade about the length of a grown human’s arm that widened toward the tip before tapering to a point, the beskad was a heavy single-handed short sword, designed to crack armor and capable of delivering short, powerful slashes similar to machete.
