This 3D printed object is useful for those who want to record a video and have both hands free. For instance, you may be a maker and want to show your project on video but you can’t really do anything because one of your hands is busy keeping your phone, and that’s distracting because you also have to mantain the right and still position to record a decent video. And what about a video recipe that needs to pour something into a container while you stir? You would need three hands to record that.
I don’t consider this project perfect because I would like to add a knob to help to tighten the nut that often loosens. For this reason, and also because the holder can go fully around the pivot, BE CAREFUL THAT YOUR PHONE DOESN’T FALL ON THE GROUND!
I suggest you try this object while you are sitting and carefully check if the screw and the nut are tight before standing. Also, you need a couple of strings that will keep the frame in the right position and balanced. This needs measurements that are different from person to person, so please make the measurements that fit you.
