Various boxes to store e.g. pens, scissors, Postits, … on the desktop. The file name describes the structure of the box:
Abbreviation | Meaning |
x | Number of connectors in the X direction |
y | Number of connectors in Y direction |
z | Internal height of the box in mm |
tx | Dividers in the X direction
0 = no dividers n = number of dividers = number of connectors 1 = 1 divider = 2 dividers |
ty | Partitions in Y direction
0 = no dividers n = number of dividers = number of connectors 1 = 1 divider = 2 dividers |
v | Variant
0 = no variant 1 = Chamfers on the divider walls for easier removal |
Each box contains a 7.5mm long connector. In the PrusaSlicer, use “separate into objects” to divide the model into a box and connector, then it can be printed without a support structure.
The two separate connector models are for the 30mm and 60mm high boxes.
I have uploaded stp files in case anyone wants to customize anything else. Additional variants can be created using the Inventor file (iPart table).
In the PrusaSlicer under “Advanced” the “Perimeter overhang threshold angle” should be set to ≥45°, then the outer walls will be printed faster.
